Empire Commercial Construction, a retail-specific division of regional commercial building contractor Taylor–The Builders, was proud to recently complete construction and project management services for the new SUBWAY® restaurant in Hilton, New York. Empire teamed with local firm Fenity Associates Architects for design of the new location located at 98 South Avenue in the existing Tops Plaza. This was the first Subway Restaurant location in the Village of Hilton.
“I am proud to bring the first SUBWAY® Restaurant location to the Hilton area,” said SUBWAY® Franchisee, Dennis Bates, who also owns the location at 1460 Lyell Ave in Rochester. “SUBWAY® is the undisputed leader in fast, healthy food. Our easy-to-prepare sandwiches are made to order right in front of the customer, precisely the way they want – using freshly baked breads, select sauces and a variety of delicious toppings. I look forward to bringing another healthy dining option to the local community.”
About SUBWAY® Restaurants
Headquartered in Milford, Connecticut, the SUBWAY® brand was co-founded by Fred DeLuca and Dr. Peter Buck in 1965. Their partnership, which continues today, marked the beginning of a remarkable journey – one that has made it possible for thousands of individuals to build and succeed in their own business.
In 2012, SUBWAY® restaurants became the first and only quick service restaurant to meet the American Heart Association’s Heart-Check Meal Certification Program nutritional criteria. This year, for the fourth straight year, the SUBWAY® brand was ranked “number one” by consumers in the Zagat® Fast Food Survey in the “Healthy Options,” “Most Popular” and “Top Service” categories for food brands with 5,000 or more locations.
