Empire Completed Store Relocation & Build-out in Town of Penfield
Empire Commercial Construction, a retail and small-project focused company, was awarded the construction contract for relocation and build-out of the Metro Mattress in Penfield, NY. Empire teamed with Rochester-based Greater Living Architecture for design and construction of the 3,200 square foot space located at 2150 Fairport Nine-Mile Point Road. Construction work began in early June, with a successful completion and delivery by the end of June.

Having last completed a retrofit of the Batavia location on Veterans Memorial Drive in 2019, this latest project for Empire featured a complete relocation for the largest bedding specialty retailer in Upstate New York. The existing multi-tenant commercial building required the combination of existing store-fronts, select demolition of previous retailers, new staging area, showroom, electrical, plumbing and resilient tile flooring.
